Spooky Spooky Washington

Spooky Spooky Washington loves noises. Loud overwhelming sounds and small sounds that you strain to hear. I suppose it makes sense that their band focuses on the rise and fall, the build and release. Their songs are a three pronged assault, building the music up until is crashes down and drones and drones and drones. Synthesizers, guitars, noise machines, and voices time stretch as multiple delays ride into infinity. Their noise falls in the post rock tradition, like Burning Star Core being played by Explosions in the Sky.

House Party
By Spooky Spooky Washington
MER 09 - 2008

Throwing a party should be fun for everyone, including the host. Here's how to throw a successful party and enjoy it at the same time. This is the first album from the Ypsilanti, Michigan based Spooky Spooky Washington. 42 minutes of shimmering guitar lines, feed backing pedals, and massively delayed synth. Tension and release to the max!
